How do I prepare an estimate or delivery note and turn it into an invoice?

Estimates and delivery notes are separate documents. Creating an invoice from one produces an editable draft that must be approved and sent separately.

Before you start

Select the correct Midas workspace. Creating, editing, sending or converting a document requires its available billing permissions and a supported document type.

What to do

  1. Open Estimates & notes. Choose New estimate or Delivery note when the relevant control is available.
  2. Review the customer, document type, dates, line items, prices, currency and tax details. Save and inspect the document or its PDF before sharing it.
  3. Use Edit or Copy when offered for that document. For an estimate, record acceptance or rejection only when you have the corresponding business confirmation.
  4. If sending by email, check the recipient, message and attachments before using Send email. Inspect the recorded delivery outcome afterward; a PDF download is not proof that email was sent.
  5. To prepare an invoice, use Create invoice and review the confirmation that it creates a draft. Open the resulting invoice and review it before any separate approval or sending action.
  6. For an already converted document, use Open invoice to inspect its existing invoice rather than creating another.

What happens next

The document retains its recorded status, and a successful conversion links it to the created invoice draft. Conversion alone does not approve, email or pay that invoice.

If something goes wrong

Editing and conversion can be unavailable for a particular status or document version. Respect those limits and inspect the existing document before retrying an uncertain result. For unresolved access, conversion or delivery problems, contact Yasa with the workspace and document reference; do not post customer documents publicly.
