Before you start
Use an administrator with the hosting-write permission. Confirm the intended customer grouping, contact address and hosting plan before creating an account.
What to do
- Open Hosting and the hosting-account view, then choose Create hosting account. Enter the intended account username, optional display name and contact email.
- Enter the account password privately and follow the form’s requirements. Choose the intended hosting plan from the available plans; do not use a different customer account merely because it is already present.
- Submit once, inspect Operations and reopen the accepted hosting-account row. Check its username and current state before adding a website or database under it.
- Open Hosting plans to inspect the displayed web-domain, database, disk, bandwidth and backup limits. The current plan table is an inventory view, not a plan-purchase or plan-editing form.
What happens next
The accepted hosting account is available for the relevant hosting-resource forms. Its creation does not register a shared Account identity or automatically invite a person to Nexus.
If something goes wrong
Check required fields, password requirements and the operation result if creation fails. A personal sign-in, hosting account and permitted Nexus resource are different things. Ask the hosting administrator about missing plans or quotas, and inspect the existing account list before repeating an uncertain request.
