Before you start
Use a role that permits these operations on the intended website.
What to do
- Open the corresponding Node.js apps, Cron jobs or Commands tab.
- Check the working directory, environment and resource limits before saving.
- Use an app for a running service, a cron job for a schedule and a command for a bounded one-off operation.
- Read the resulting state and logs before repeating a failed or timed-out operation.
What happens next
You can inspect whether the configured operation is stopped, running, completed or failed.
If something goes wrong
Cron expressions use UTC. A timeout does not prove the underlying work stopped; inspect its actual state before retrying. Keep secrets out of commands and screenshots.
