Before you start
You need the normal permission to manage your own inventory.
What to do
- Open Inventory and check for an existing item before adding another.
- Use Smart Add with a product name or URL. Review the suggested category, manufacturer and model; detection can be incomplete or wrong.
- Choose the appropriate CPU, GPU, RAM, Storage, Motherboard, PSU, Case, Cooling or Peripherals category. Review the purchase price, condition and notes before saving.
- Reopen the item to confirm the saved details. Use the trade flag only when you intend to offer it, and check build relationships before removing a component.
What happens next
Your inventory contains the accepted component information.
If something goes wrong
An inventory record is not proof of physical ownership, a sale or a warranty. If a save is uncertain, check the current item before submitting it again.
