How do I use sharing and community features safely?

Sharing can expose selected Builder information outside your private workspace.

Before you start

You must own or have permission to share the information.

What to do

  1. Review the build or component information before using a share or community action.
  2. Check the visibility and destination shown by the action.
  3. Open the resulting public link when available and inspect what other people can see.
  4. Remove private notes, personal information and credentials before publication.

What happens next

You can verify the actual shared content and link.

If something goes wrong

A social preview is a cached third-party display and can lag behind changes. Report the exact shared URL if the current page or preview is wrong.
