How do I change my mailbox password?

Webmail’s Password setting applies to the hosted mailbox, separately from your shared Yasa Account password.

Before you start

Sign in to the intended mailbox and have permission to change its credentials. Prepare a unique strong password and consider the other mail apps that use this mailbox.

What to do

  1. Open Settings and choose Password when that action is available for your mailbox.
  2. Enter the current password if requested, then enter and confirm the new mailbox password. Follow the displayed length and strength requirements; enter passwords only in the trusted mailbox form.
  3. Save once and inspect the confirmation. Update the saved mailbox password in your other authorised mail apps when the change succeeds.
  4. If the result is uncertain, avoid repeated changes and ask the mailbox administrator for the appropriate recovery route.

What happens next

A confirmed change updates the mailbox credential through its configured hosting service. It does not change shared Account sign-in credentials.

If something goes wrong

A missing or disabled Password action, failed current-password check, confirmation mismatch or hosting error requires the displayed correction or mailbox-administrator help. Do not send either password in a support message. If you cannot sign in, this signed-in setting is not a password-recovery form.
