How do proposals, offers and acceptance work?

Use the opportunity workflow to review and respond to work proposals.

Before you start

Sign in with an eligible personal or authorised company membership that covers the job budget. You can propose only for another member’s open job, once per job.

What to do

  1. Open the exact opportunity and read the proposal or offer details.
  2. To send a proposal, choose the intended identity and enter a clear message, a positive price in EUR and a delivery date that is today or later. Review the brief and terms before submitting.
  3. As the job owner, open the received private proposals and use Select proposal only for the intended eligible pending proposal. The selection accepts it, declines the other proposals and marks the job assigned.
  4. Check the saved outcome and related assignment after confirmation.

What happens next

The sender and job owner can review the private proposal and its saved state. Selecting a proposal assigns the job; it does not by itself create an escrow payment, transfer money or pay the contractor.

If something goes wrong

If submission is uncertain, check My proposals or the job’s received proposals before trying again. Check membership scope, budget eligibility, the job deadline and whether you already proposed. There is no separate decline action in the current job-owner controls; do not assume opening a proposal selects it.
