How do I create a project or change its basic settings?

A project groups its description, status, priority, deadline, people and tasks. Its basic settings are separate from shared Account preferences and Midas billing records.

Before you start

Sign in with an identity permitted to create a project or edit the intended existing project.

What to do

  1. Open Projects and use the project-creation control, or open the intended project's edit action.
  2. Enter a clear project name and description. Review its status, priority, deadline and colour before saving.
  3. If customer or billing controls are offered, check the selected Midas workspace and customer before changing them. Leave those controls unchanged when you only intend to edit basic project details.
  4. Save and wait for the final confirmation. Reopen the project to confirm the saved fields and inspect its task list.
  5. Use project access and assignment controls for the people who should work on it. Creating a project does not grant that project access to unrelated services.

What happens next

The accepted project appears in the permitted project list with the saved basic settings. Existing project and task permissions still govern access.

If something goes wrong

Filters can hide an existing project. If creation or saving is uncertain, inspect the project list and the current record before creating another. Keep intended edits when a conflict requires loading the latest state. Contact Yasa with the project reference and error if the result remains unclear.
