How do I create, review or pause recurring invoices?

A recurring schedule uses a saved, eligible invoice as its template. New schedules create drafts for review by default; automatic approval and email are separate choices.

Before you start

You need billing write permission for the selected workspace and an invoice that supports recurrence. Running due profiles manually also requires the administrative control offered by Midas.

What to do

  1. Save and review the intended template invoice first. Use its Make recurring or schedule controls, or open Recurring invoices to find an existing schedule.
  2. Check the template customer, items, prices and currency. Select the frequency, next invoice date and whether the schedule is active.
  3. Choose draft creation for review, automatic approval, or automatic approval and email where offered. Check the recipient and explicitly authorise the automatic actions if selecting them. Foreign-currency schedules create drafts for exchange-rate review.
  4. Save the schedule and reopen Recurring invoices. Check its next date, mode, status and last generated invoice. The original template invoice remains a separate record.
  5. To update prices or items, save the template changes before editing and saving its schedule. Use Pause to stop future generation. Before Resume, review the next date and approval mode because missed dates may be processed.
  6. If you have the administrative run control, review all due profiles in the selected workspace before using Run due profiles now, then inspect the reported generated invoices and delivery results.

What happens next

The saved schedule shows the intended frequency, next date and approval mode. Each accepted run creates new invoices from its template and current company and customer details; payment remains a separate outcome.

If something goes wrong

A saved draft does not prove that its recurring schedule was created. Inspect any setup warning and the schedule list before retrying. Some invoice versions do not support schedule creation or editing; do not bypass a disabled control. Contact Yasa with the workspace and invoice or schedule reference if setup, generation or delivery remains uncertain.
