How do I manage password and Google sign-in?

Use the sign-in and security controls provided by Account for your existing identity.

Before you start

You must be signed in and able to complete any required verification.

What to do

  1. Open Account security settings.
  2. Use the available Connect Google or password setup controls for your account.
  3. Follow the verification steps and wait for the confirmed result.
  4. Keep access to the sign-in method you already use until the new method is confirmed.

What happens next

A supported additional sign-in method connects to the same verified identity.

If something goes wrong

Matching display names or email text do not justify merging accounts. If linking is refused, contact support without sending passwords or verification codes.
