How do I use quick search, keyboard commands and saved task views?

Search and keyboard commands help you find permitted work, while saved views retain useful filters and layouts. A view link does not grant access to another person's project.

Before you start

Sign in to the intended identity and work within projects you can access. Saved views require a working Account connection.

What to do

  1. Open the search and command control, or press Ctrl+K on Windows or Command+K on macOS. Type to narrow the available commands, projects and tasks; use the arrow keys and Enter to choose a result.
  2. Outside text fields and other open dialogs, press Q to open a new-task editor, / to focus the current view's search, or ? to review keyboard shortcuts. Choose the intended project and save the task through its normal editor.
  3. Choose the task layout, project, status, search and sort controls that match the work you want to see.
  4. Use Save view and enter a useful name. Using the name of an existing saved view updates that named view, so review the name before saving.
  5. Open the saved view to restore its filters. If synchronisation is unavailable, keep the current filters and use Refresh views when the connection recovers.
  6. Use the view's link-copy control when you need its URL. Remove a saved view only when you intend to remove that saved shortcut; it is separate from deleting the underlying tasks.

What happens next

The saved view reopens its accepted filter context for your account. Searching, copying a link or changing a view does not change task ownership or grant project membership.

If something goes wrong

A filter can hide existing tasks, and a search result can become unavailable if access changes. Quick-create shortcuts are inactive while editing text or another dialog is open. If a view save fails, inspect the reported synchronisation state and existing named views before retrying. Contact Yasa with the view name and affected service if the problem persists.
